Course registration for next school year will be completed on line through Synergy beginning January 8th and must be completed by January 19th. Counselors will be meeting with students to distribute materials on January 8th (11th grade), Jan 10th (10th grade) and January 11th (9th grade). Students will be able to participate in an elective fair during school, to learn about elective course offerings on the days they are not receiving materials (January 8th, 10th or 11th).
Teachers have made recommendations for courses that are graduation requirements and students will be given a printed copy of their teacher recommendations. If you do not agree with the teacher recommendation you may complete the course placement review form on the back of that sheet and turn in to Student Services by January 19th. Instructions for entering elective courses in Synergy will be listed on the same sheet as the teacher recommendations. CHS Student Services will host evening hours providing open computer access for families who do not have internet access at home. The lab will be available on January 17th and 18th, from 5 to 7 pm in the Student Services office.
