The “Awkward Troupe did a wonderful job of Improv at Miller’ Grant. The audience was very receptive and enjoyed the performance. Noah Katz was terrific in his leadership, keeping the program moving, and selecting players for each game to spread the talent.  Thank you for offering such an entertaining afternoon.

Congratulations to Jacob Blyukher (138) and Jason Kraisser (145) Howard County Wrestling Champions! Eagle Pride

Congratulations to Andrew Hohmann - Player of the Week. He's been the Eagles' offensive catalyst during their current win streak.

The United States Marine Band, President's Own String Quartet performed at Centennial High School February 22, 2018 for our orchestra students.

Since November Centennial students have been planning a "One Centennial" to address and discuss concerns that are student selected and student led. The topics are cultural issues, race issues, stress, mental health, gun control, and school safety. These workshops will be opportunities for students to have discussions, give opinions, and hopefully, provide some solutions for Centennial. Our One Centennial will be from 8:00-2:10 on March 29th and we are very excited about it. Students and SGA are also planning an organized event for March 14th in solidarity with Stoneman Douglas High School. Centennial students are passionate and compassionate and truly want to help create change... the students feel strongly about meaningful and purposeful events. Our Student Services, SRO, as well as administrators, are always available to speak with students. We are looking forward to our open dialogues...

Dumpling Day …best day ever!

The Chinese Association at Centennial (CAAC) – a PTSA Parent Advocacy group invited all teachers and staff at Centennial High School to their annual Chinese Dumpling Lunch on Friday, February 23.  We all enjoyed this traditional meal celebrating the Lunar New Year (Year of the Dog).  We ate a variety of delicious dumplings, cookies, Chinese pancakes, and sauces.  No one walked away hungry!  Thank you… CAAC Chair, Bing Zhang, Yujun Mao, and all the wonderful parents!

Have a great weekend.
