Mrs. Cindy Dillion as Centennial’s new principal. She has been the principal at Patapsco Middle School for eight years and the 2018 Maryland Middle School Principal of the Year.

After many years as a Centennial Eagle, Ms. Jean Vanderpool will be leaving Centennial and will be the AAM at Wilde Lake High School. We wish Jean Vanderpool the best at her new school.
We also have some very dedicated and exemplary teachers at Centennial, who are retiring or leaving: Mrs. Michelle Bagley, Mrs. Janice Rice, Ms. Doreen Fields, and Mrs. Stephanie Gerhold. We wish them luck in the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to Sumit Aditya Nawathe and Carolyn DeSena who studied private piano during 2017-2018 and received the grade of A+ and for receiving an A for the High School Piano Examination in Advanced I Level of Music Literature. Also, to Melody Chu who received an A for her piano study and a B+ on the exam. This examination demonstrates their competence at a high level of achievement and they should be recognized for their hard work.
The CHS Math Journal led by senior editors Chy Murali and Courtney Tse have completed its third issue to be released in the fall of 2018-2019. The journal features 15 articles. The editors and authors of the journal sincerely thank all our supporters without whom it would be impossible to publish such a high quality journal that is completely student produced! By July 1, 2018 our journal will be published online at http://chsmathjournal.weebly.com/ . Our resources will be low after this year's publication so we shamelessly request your donations. Checks payable to Centennial High School with CHS Math Journal on the memo line can be sent to Robert Kennedy at CHS. Donations can also be made online (visit our website for directions). We acknowledge our supporters by name in each issue.
