Hispanic Graduation Sarapes (stoles)
The HCPSS Hispanic Achievement Program is currently selling sarapes (stoles) to Hispanic and Latino graduating seniors. The sale of sarapes started February 1st and will continue through May 8th. Read more.

NEST (Now Everyone Stand Together)
This summer, we wrote to you about an upcoming program at Centennial designed to promote student voice, encourage discourse, and build community. The topics planned are pulled from approved curricula and are centered around issues important to our student body. Through our newsletters, we will share vignettes and discussion questions our students engage with so you can continue the conversations at home. Read more.

RTA Bus Passes
HCPSS has again partnered with the Howard County Government and the Regional Transportation Agency of Central Maryland to provide free RTA bus access to students. Read more.

Congratulations to Yehji Hwang, who recently won an Honorable Mention in the Poetry & Spoken Word category in the 2022 Ocean Awareness Contest! The contest is a global competition sponsored by Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs that engages youth in creatively raising awareness of environmental issues.
Congratulations to the Ethics Bowl Team! The team represented CHS at the National Ethics Bowl on 2/11. Ryan Zou, Advait Gunja, Justin Yu, Aditi Namputhiripad, and Yunah Kwon advanced the to Finals. The team's ability to argue some of the most difficult ethical dilemmas of our day was inspirational.
