9th Grade Parents: Wednesday, January 10th from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Auditorium we are having our 9th Grade Midterm Mastery Information Review Session & Course Scheduling Information Night for 9th grade students and parents. This is not a time to speak with teachers. They are just presenting information to help support you and your child be successful on mid terms.

Midterm review sheets are now online. We are continually updating this page as we receive more review packets from teachers. To see what is currently available, go to: http://chs.hcpss.org --> "Academics" --> "Academic Resources" --> scroll down to see Review Session Schedule and Review Packets.

We have an activity bus that will pick students up at 3:45 from January 16th through January 18th, but you need to sign up on Sign Up Genius.

Midterms are the week of January 22nd-January 26th.

· No extracurricular activities, except 90 minute conditioning practices which may begin at 2:45 p.m.

January 8th – registration materials for the 2018-2019 School Year will open and will be due online January 19th.

Leadership U Information Sessions: Students and parents are welcome to attend; sessions are 7:00 – 8:00 PM. Please help spread the word about this great leadership program for sophomores.

· Applications will be available online in January 2018 and will be due March 15, 2018.

· Personal interviews will take place in April and students are notified of selection in May.

Parents and students interested in the gifted and talented research programs for next year should attend the information night on Monday, 1/8 at 7 PM in the Media Center. Come hear about the Independent Research Program and the Intern/Mentor Program. Applications can be completed at https://sites.google.com/site/michellebagleychs/assignments

Applications are due by 1/29 and interviews will be conducted in February.

On behalf of the staff and the administration at Centennial High School, we want to wish each of you a safe and happy holiday season. As we reflect fall and early winter school days, we pause to be thankful for the many gifts that children bring to our lives. As we look ahead to the New Year, we look forward to boundless opportunities for our school community. This truly will be a year to celebrate what we have learned, what we are learning, and what we can learn.
