The Centennial National Math Honor Society is hosting the 6th annual Centennial Mu Alpha Theta Math Tournament on April 9, 2022! The tournament is a great way for students to test their math skills, meet new people from around Howard County, and compete to win prizes. Any student can register for $5. Students can compete in a countdown round, team round, and two individual tests out of the following categories: Algebra/Number Theory, Geometry, Combinatorics, and Precalculus/Calculus. Top scorers from individual rounds will participate in that category’s countdown round. Winners will receive gift cards and trophies. This year we are returning to an in-person tournament at Centennial High School! The tournament will last approximately from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. Check-in will open at 8 AM and close at 8:30 AM. Registration can be done using this link:https://tinyurl.com/CHSMathTournament22Register You can register either as a team of up to 4 or as an individual. If you register as an individual, we will place you on a team for the team round, so don’t worry! More information can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/CHSMathTournament2022Info.
