Eagle News:

Congratulations to our Science Olympiad Team. For the second year in a row, Centennial won the SO Invitational Tournament hosted by the National Cathedral School in Washington, DC. Not only did Team #1 win the tournament, team #2 placed third out of 23 teams.  We have some great returning veterans and some very energetic, hard working new Olympians.

We head to Fairfax High School in January for another invitational and the regionals will be in early February.

Maryam Elhabashy gave a speech at the first #onehoward event. It was a pretty great experience. She got a standing ovation… Here’s an article with a small excerpt from her speech:

Each champion won a classroom competition, and the winner at the school level moves on to Regionals in February. Good luck to all champions!

Congratulations to Polly Moser, Geonhee Na, Jerel Olonski, Lucas Benavides, and Katie Garner on the graduation from Leadership U. Students had the opportunity to participate and work on entrepreneur projects over the summer.

Have a great weekend.
