3rd Annual Emily Scott Memorial Walk

Wed, 08/21/2024 - 7:22am

The 3rd Annual Emily Scott Memorial Walk to benefit the Emily Scott Award presented by the Bright Minds Foundation. Last year we were able to give out FIVE scholarship, including two scholarships to students from Centennial High School and one student each from Mt. Hebron High School, Howard High School, and Long Reach High School. All five of these individuals exemplified what we were looking for in scholarship recipients… They are great students, kind, accepting, and inclusive of all.  We are excited to be able to do the same this year, but only with your support!

Contact

For all inquiries or questions regarding the walk, please email colin_moe@hcpss.org, elizabeth_engle@hcpss.org, or emilyscottmemorialscholarship@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you and walking with you in honor of Emily and what she believed in. Without the accepting and inclusive family, friends, teachers, doctors, and many other caretakers in Emily’s life, she never would have blossomed into the girl we are walking for in just a few weeks. We hope to continue to have your unwavering commitment and support for years to come.

Please make sure to take lots of photos on walk day and send them to emilyscottmemorialscholarship@gmail.com. After the walk, we will make sure to compile all of the photos and share them.

In Kindness and Acceptance,

The Emily Scott Memorial Scholarship Committee
