On Saturday, February 18th, Centennial Girl Up will be hosting a leadership summit to increase awareness and action for women's and young girls' rights all across the globe. From 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Miller Branch Library (the Avalon meeting room), there will be guest speakers from around the community, leadership workshops, fun-filled activities with prizes, networking, and of course, food! Students of all genders from middle and high schools all around Howard County are invited to participate in this event. Registration is free, so please come out to support our club and adolescent girls everywhere! Though there is no admission fee, there is a suggested donation of $5 to the Girl Up campaign. Every penny counts towards helping one disadvantaged girl achieve her dreams!
