Tickets for HCPSS Student Performance at Merriweather Post Pavilion

Thu, 04/06/2017 - 12:57pm

The Howard County Public School's Fine Arts Program is celebrating Columbia's 50th birthday with a student performance at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 4pm. The event will include performances from all 12 HCPSS high schools and will honor Jim Rouse's legacy of community, collaboration, integration, diversity, vision, and human values.

This is a free event, but tickets are required for general admission seating within the Pavilion.  All of the general admission Pavilion tickets will be distributed to the schools, HCPSS, and the Columbia 50th organization. There are no additional Pavilion tickets available from Merriweather Post.

Each school will receive 290 general admission Pavilion tickets. Each student performer from your school should be offered up to four (4) tickets and the remaining tickets should be distributed in a manner equitable for your school.

The general admission Pavilion tickets will state that all ticket holders must be seated by 3:30pm, with the show beginning at 4pm.  Gates open at 2:30pm.  Any empty general admission Pavilion seats will be filled prior to the start of the performance.

Lawn seating at Merriweather is available and does not require tickets.

The tickets will be delivered to our school no later than Tuesday, April 18th.
