Another successful regular tennis season is in the books.

The CHS boys tennis team has reclaimed the title as County Champions. Lead by team captains William Liu and Peter Ho, the boys have had an incredible season going undefeated with a 16-0 record to secure the title.  The CHS girls tennis team, lead by captains Maryam Elhabashy and Lina Choi, also had a great season at 13-3 but unfortunately the title of County Champions went to a tough Marriotts Ridge team. Both teams are representing Centennial tennis in the county tournament that is underway at Wilde Lake Tennis Center. Representing the team in the tournament are Boys Singles: Ram Kotnana and Arthur Tseng, Girls Singles: Maryam Elhabashy and Summer Shen, Boys Doubles: William Liu and Peter Ho, Lukas Sanidas and Christopher Chen, Girls Doubles: Kimi Hsiao and Kaitlyn Oaksmith, Angela Kou and Abby Jackson, Mixed Doubles: Andy Tseng and Olivia Tsai, Lina Choi and Daniel Zheng.  Players hope to advance in the tournament and win the county tournament cup. While only 10 entries are allowed in the county tournament, Centennial Tennis would not be what it is without all of the members of the team. Those additional members include: Richard Cui, Bo Gao, Robert Gao, Vineeth Garnepudi, Richard Huang, Shardul Rakshit, Annie Barnes, Dina Eloseily, Farah Helal, Lia LasCasas, Briana Lim, and Alice Xue. For players that qualify the regional tournament takes place on May 18th and 19th and the state tournament on May 26th and 27th, both at Wilde Lake Tennis Center.

Congratulations to Sarah Rebekah Kim, Senior at Centennial High School.  She is the Concertmaster of the Peabody Premiere Youth Orchestra.
