Centennial High School Art and Photography students will have their masterpieces exhibited in the following Spring Art Shows:
Many artworks by Centennial High School art and photography students at all levels will have their artworks on display at the 47th Annual Spring Student Exhibition at the Mall in Columbia from April 9 to April 21.
The annual Junior Portfolio and Senior Shows will run from April 24 through May 15, at the Central Office gallery at the Board of Education. The following students will have their works on display in these two prestigious shows:
Gabrielle Cherry, Jasmine Ji, Katherine Choe, Hyo Rhee Yim, Van Phi Quy, Emily Dahlgren, Nick Baker, Christina Yang , Bingbing Chang and Katie Harris will have their drawings and paintings on display. Emily Dahlgren will be the Centennial High School speaker at the opening reception / awards ceremony on April 30, at Wild Lake High School auditorium from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
The prestigious Congressional Art Competition for Elijah Cumming’s 7th district will feature five works of art by Centennial High School students. Juniper Humphrey, Noni Grimes, Natalie Keane, Meg Greulich, and Judy Zhou will have their works on display at the Walter’s Art Museum in Baltimore and will be part of a reception on Saturday, May 11, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
All Centennial High School Art and Photography students will have their artworks on display at the Centennial High School Spring Art Show from May 6 through May 31, in the main hallway, the front office and lobby, and the corner gallery. Come to see all the wonderful artworks produced this school year.
Also.... 30 National Art Honor Society students will be teaching art all day long at Pointers Run Elementary School as part of the Art Extravaganza Day on April 26.
