FBLA Freshman and Sophomore Advice Panel

Mon, 11/09/2020 - 10:59am

Freshmen and Sophomores: As the first quarter of virtual school comes to an end, the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club and SGA would like to reach out and offer support to our newer members of the CHS community. As upperclassmen, the FBLA Board understands that the transition from middle school to high school can be a difficult adjustment but we want to help you succeed during your high school career. FBLA is interested in hosting a student panel event to offer advice and answer any questions you might have about surviving high school. This event will include seniors who have participated and excelled in a wide variety of activities during their high school career. Our goal is to help underclassmen build their confidence and succeed in activities that hold their interests. In the discussion at our event, 5 seniors will be covering different topics including time management, study habits, playing competitive sports, preparing for the different standardized tests, club involvement, and more. In addition, students and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions in the breakout room discussions. We hope by hosting a discussion in which the freshman and sophomore class and parents can talk to seniors, we can ease your transition into high school. We hope to see you there on November 17th at 6:00 pm! From, FBLA Board 2020 Link to sign up: https://forms.gle/pwY24WMENs3ETyAj8
