As of yesterday, November 15th, the moratorium on utility shut-offs has expired and utility companies may now begin shut-offs for nonpayment. Residential customers who are behind on payments have 45 days from receipt of notice to work out a payment plan or apply for energy assistance programs. Customers who take either action will not have service disconnected.
