MDOT SHA is hiring permanent Facility Maintenance Technician I (FMT I) positions. Incumbents in the FMT position are the employees who maintain our state roads. These positions are entry level, require no experience, and come with many benefits and opportunities for growth. These positions do require a valid state driver’s license and if a candidate is hired, they must be 18 years of age by their start date.

This is an opportunity for students to interact real-time via a live video chat session(s). Come eager to learn about the benefits of state employment, a day in the life of an FMT, how to apply for positions and meet employee(s) who started as an FMT I but have since progressed into management roles. 

Time:              Tuesday, May 18, 2021 or Thursday May 20, 2021:  Two (2) sessions each day – 1:00-3:00 pm or 5:00 pm-7:00 pm
