Freshman Focus

• Application is live, students can apply through the HCC Traditional Application, Students are to select YES to Freshman Focus
• Students should request their transcripts be sent to HCC
• The deadline for this application is March 15^th
• If the student is a current JumpStart student, they do not need to reapply but DO need fill out an Intent to Participate form for Freshman Focus
• For support, we offer Freshman Focus Flash chats every Wednesday from 3-4PM via  Zoom: https://howardcc.zoom.us/j/92814243001. This is a space students can get all questions answered about Freshman Focus and how to apply

Silas Craft

• Application is live and separate from the HCC Traditional Application, students will select the Silas Craft Application
• Students will need to fill out the online supplemental form, letter of recommendation is needed, and a transcript needs to be sent to HCC
• Current JumpStart students need to re-apply to HCC for this program
• The deadline for this application is March 15^th
• We are offering application workshops for students who are applying through Zoom: https://howardcc.zoom.us/j/94567210275
• Tuesday, March 1st 4-5PM
• Tuesday, March 8th from 4-5PM 

Honors

• The application is live, students can apply through the HCC Traditional Application by selecting “YES” to being interested in HCC Honors
• Students have an online supplemental application to fill out, along with a letter of recommendation and need to request a transcript to be sent to HCC
• The deadline for priority is December 1 and the regular deadline is March 15^th
• Current JumpStart students need to re-apply to HCC for this program

• Monday, November 15^th from 4-5PM
• Monday, November 29^th from 4-5PM
• Monday, February 28^th from 4-5PM
• Monday, March 7^th from 4-5PM

Additionally, we have HCC Hour every first Tuesday from 12-1pm of the month for all programs via Zoom: https://howardcc.zoom.us/j/91763365788. This is a space where students can come together in one Zoom room and ask any questions they have on all programs.

The application for Bright Minds Foundation scholarships to cover HCC textbooks and course fees for students who currently receive Free and Reduced-Price meals is opening November 14th and closes on December 12th.
