December 31: Final Deadline for the College Board National Recognition Program Application

Fri, 12/17/2021 - 2:21pm

There is a one-time additional application window for students who may have missed their opportunity to apply for National Recognition last spring. If you are a current junior or senior who meets the eligibility criteria listed on our website (Links to an external site.), you should submit an application by Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Current juniors and seniors are eligible through the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or AP® Exams but not the recent October 2021 PSAT/NMSQT. Juniors who qualify through the October 2021 PSAT/NMSQT will have an opportunity to apply through our spring 2022 application cycle.

If you are eligible you should have received an email inviting them to submit an application by December 31:

If a student currently has a 3.5 GPA or higher and identifies as African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, and/or attends school in a rural or small town, we encourage them to apply for these awards. Students must identify with at least one of the four groups listed to be eligible.

The deadline to submit your application is Friday, December 31, at 11:59 p.m. ET. This application is free of charge. Please apply as soon as possible, as this deadline won't be extended.
