Did you know that, in the 2021-2022 school year, 54 Centennial HS students took 154 courses at Howard Community College? JumpStart Dual Enrollment provides the opportunity for HCPSS students to earn college credits while still in high school in an inclusive and nurturing environment. If you’re interested in participating in JumpStart or applying for admissions to HCC at a freshman for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, your Centennial HS school counselors have worked hard to bring the HCC Application and Registration process to you.
Please mark the following dates on your calendar:
March 1st 8am - 9am
An HCC Admissions representative will be at CHS to share information about their freshman programs and will help students apply to begin classes in the summer or fall. (see your counselor to get a pass, and bring your charged Chromebook).
March 1st 9:30am - 10:30am
An HCC Admissions representative will be at CHS to share information about Jumpstart, a program where HCPSS students can take classes at HCC and in some cases earn dual credit. (see your counselor to get a pass, and bring your charged Chromebook).
April 5th 10am – 1:30pm
An HCC Admissions representative will be at CHS to share information about Jumpstart (see your counselor to get a pass, and bring your charged Chromebook).
May 6th 8:30am – 12pm
Register for summer and fall classes as HCC (see your counselor to get a pass, and bring your charged Chromebook).

Discover HCC - HCC Information Session: March 10th from 11am-1:30pm On HCC campus in RCF 400 and open to all juniors and seniors interested in attending HCC. This is also a chance for seniors who want to come to HCC in the fall to get all of their questions answered and complete an application that day!
