Howard County middle and high school students are invited to participate in the 36th Annual Champions of Courage Essay Competition celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy and those who keep his teachings alive.
Students grades 6 through 12 are invited to write a brief essay saluting their personal role model who has demonstrated the teachings of Dr. King.
15 essays will be selected, and student essayists will appear on FOX45 in February 2023 saluting their Champion of Courage.
