Welcome to Almost, Maine, the way life should be! One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same. The show runs November 16-18 at 7pm and November 19 at 2pm.

Almost, Maine was developed at the Cape Cod Theater Project in 2002, and received its world premiere at Portland Stage Company, where it broke box office records and garnered critical acclaim. Almost, Maine opened Off Broadway in the winter of 2005 at the Daryl Roth Theatre. To date, Almost, Maine has been produced by over 3000 theater companies in the United States (and by over twenty companies internationally) making it one of the most frequently produced plays of the past decade.

The cast includes Ethan Kinstler, Christina Dee, Sydney Grossman, Fayyaz Zaidi

Kieran Newell, Gillian Rossbach, Lacey Gelfand, Caroline Pekrul, Ben Roseman, Vaishnavi Mahalingham, Andrew Lee, Sabrina Ochoa,  Allison Brown, Matthew Sorak, Abby Zoller-Gritz, Casey Stratton, Ed Luiggi, Blair Bryant, and Noah Katz. There are still well over 60 seniors who have not had their portrait taken. We have scheduled a final senior re-take session with Lifetouch on December 7th. They will set up in the back of the auditorium. We are hoping this allows all seniors ample opportunity to have their portrait taken.

The first round of the University of Maryland Math Competition are in and a total of 1,924 students in the state of Maryland took round one.  Seventeen of our students make up the total 249 students who qualified for round 2.  Part 2 will be given on Wednesday November 29th.
