As we start the first official week of the HCPSS Continuity of Learning Plan, we have been thinking of new ways to support you during the transition.
We anticipate you may have questions throughout the first few weeks of this launch. To assist you, we have created an electronic lobby that will be covered by our support staff. The CHS E-Lobby will be open during select hours throughout the school day for the first three weeks of classes. During these hours, staff members will be happy to meet you in our virtual front office lobby to help students locate class join codes, to answer general questions for parents and community members, and to help direct you to the help you need.
Lobby hours April 14-17:
4/14 - Tu 9-10am and 12-1pm
4/15 - Wed 8-9am, 9:30-10:30am, and 12-1pm
4/16 - Thur 8-9am, 9:30-10:30am, and 1:30-2:30pm
4/17 - Fr 8-9am and 9:30-10:30am.
During weeks 2 and 3, the schedule will be adjusted to align with the student’s weekly check-in schedule. Lobby hours for April 20-24 and April 27-May 1:
Monday 9-10am, 12:45-1:15pm, and 1:45-2:15pm
Tu, W, Th 7:45-8:15am, 8:45-9:15am, 12:45-1:15pm, and 1:45-2:15pm
Friday 9:45-10:15am and 1:00-1:30pm.
We will be working daily from 7:30-3:00. Should you have questions when the lobby isn’t staffed, please send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. For your convenience, a complete list of staff email addresses is located on our website. If you are not sure who to contact, email one of the front office secretaries or administrators and we’ll be sure to help point you in the right direction.
