Family File now available for the 2020-21 school year
Parents can now access and complete the Family File for the 2020-21 school year. Parents must complete the Family File every year, even during virtual learning, to ensure HCPSS has the most current information for each child. Once logged in, parents/guardians will be asked to verify, or update the following information: Student Information, Parent/Guardian Contact, Emergency Contact, Medical Information, Arrival/Dismissal Procedures (for when in-person classes resume), Photo Approval, Data Confidentiality, PTA/PTSA Directory. CELEBRATE CENTENNIAL:
Got great news about our students, staff, or community? Send it our way and we’ll shout it out!
On Saturday, October 10th, Centennial’s Speech and Debate team competed virtually in their first meet of the season. The team got off to a great start by placing 3 debate teams, 1 individual debater, and 1 Speech competitor in the Top 10 of their events.
Our top finishers won 3 medals for outstanding performances. One of our new debate teams, Olivia Ju and Shriya Reddy, earned a bronze medal in Varsity Public Forum. Sunny Gu and Noelle Mitchell paired up in Varsity Public Forum to earn a silver medal – missing gold by only 1 speaker point. And our top performer of the day was Emily Xing, who earned a gold medal in Speech for her Original Oratory.
Congratulations to all of our competitors and a big THANK YOU to our parent judges for their patience and support as we worked through the technical challenges of our first virtual meet!
We are looking forward to our next meet on Saturday, November 21st - Go Eagles!
