Voices for Change Presents: Fall Youth Town Hall on November 5th

The Howard County Local Children’s Board is sponsoring a Fall Youth Town Hall. Topics discussed will include: Transition Back to School, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Diversity and Community, Youth Leadership. Find the flyer linked here.

Speakup Hoco!

This is a community based program in collaboration between several organizations where Howard County teens have an opportunity to get together and learn dialogue skills to discuss any topics and issues that are important and meaningful to them, with a focus on race, identity, diversity, and inclusion. The teens will earn service hours as well as learn some leadership skills. We meet the second and fourth Mondays from 7:00-8:30pm at the Carriage House in Columbia. If you would help us get the word out to all your staff and parent contacts, that would be wonderful.
