Register for Bus Transportation for 2023-24

Families whose children are eligible for bus transportation must register through HCPSS Connect Synergy to receive bus service for the 2023-2024 school year. Read more.


Class of 2023 Graduation - May 24, 2023

Our commencement ceremony will be held at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Wednesday, May 24th at 11:00am. We will dismiss all students at 10:00am. The last day for the Senior class will be May 23rd.

Graduation 2023: Special Seating

Forms are available to request special seating for members of your family who may require accommodations for the graduation ceremony at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Read more


CHS Class of 2023 Banners - Orders due by April 29!

Celebrate your graduate and order a Class of 2023 CHS banner! Orders are open now through April 29. Banners will be displayed in school, and then students will receive their banners to take home. Read more.


CHS Class of 2023 Senior Yard Signs - Orders due by April 30!

Senior yard signs are on sale now! Choose between congratulations and personalized signs. The deadline for ordering is April 30, and pick up will be in mid-May.  Click here to order.


Hispanic Graduation Sarapes (stoles)

The HCPSS Hispanic Achievement Program is currently selling sarapes (stoles) to Hispanic and Latino graduating seniors. The sale of sarapes started February 1st and will continue through May 8th. Read more.


Scholarships for Seniors

While most or all college applications are complete, please look for scholarships.  You can locate a list of Scholarships in Naviance and Canvas announcements.  County and state scholarships are posted on the bulletin board outside of Student Services.  Please visit Student Services with any scholarship questions.


HCPSS Rainbow Conference - Register Now!

The HCPSS Rainbow Conference will be held on Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.  The conference will be hybrid with opportunities for both virtual and in-person participation. Read more

Senior Week: Staying Safe in Ocean City

Parents, are you getting worried about your teen's right of passage week in Ocean City for Senior Week? Knowledge is power. Congratulations to the following students students who were recognized at the  HCPSS 33rd Annual Senior Show and Junior Portfolio Development Exhibition: Seonyoung Lee won a Junior Honorable Mention Award; Sakina Ibrahim won the Jay Tucker Fine Arts Award; and Hannah Chen won the Senior Juror’s Choice award. The Jay Tucker and Juror’s Choice are the top two honors for the show, so this is truly an amazing accomplishment for our students.


Congratulations to the  CHS Science Olympiad Team, who are the State Champions – seven years in a row – in the Maryland Science Olympiad! The team will participate in Nationals on May 19-20, 2023, at Wichita State University. GO EAGLES!!
